Columbia participated in Transas Global Forum which was held in Vancouver on 06 – 08 March.
A two day Crew Conference was held by CSM in Limassol for 24 Captains and Senior Officers. The Crew Conference took place at the Columbia Plaza in Limassol (28 February – 01 March). A representative from one of our clients participated, who shared some insights from an owner’s perspective. A range of important topics were covered by other speakers, from safety to digitalisation – most importantly, our seafarers’ viewpoints were heard. Clear channels of communication are essential for good cooperation – especially in large companies. Positive feedback has since been received, with appreciation shown for the platform of two-way communication between our seafarers and shore staff.
