This year’s Earth Day, 22nd April 2018, was marked by two Columbia offices. Earth Day is an annual event which aims to inspire international awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s natural environment CSM Hamburg utilised their office windows overlooking the River Elbe to send an eco-message ‘End Plastic Pollution’ using recycled paper.
Meanwhile in Singapore, CSM and AAL Singapore participated in a guided walk to celebrate Earth Day. Staff enjoyed an invigorating 5km walk through the Prunus-Petai Trail at Macritchie Reservoir Park (Central Catchment Nature Reserve). The guides from BES-Drongos, a group of nature enthusiasts from the National University of Singapore, provided an understanding of the local biodiversity and ecological systems in Singapore.
